John Williams – Trumpet
John began trumpet in elementary school and has enjoyed performing with multiple Big-Bands, jazz combos, pit orchestras, brass bands and symphonic groups over his 40+ years as a free-lance musician in the greater Sacramento and Bay area. In 2020 John retired from state service, joined On Air and returned to college as a Jazz Studies major. For ten years John has been the solo horn in Sacramento’s smooth jazz combo ‘The Templetons’ and it is been rumored he has been doing time in the Ophir Prison Marching Kazoo Band and Temperance Society Ltd since 2000.
